Waltons Marquee Hire was launched in 1998 in Ponteland, Northumberland, by David Walton, who still runs the business today.
Initially, the company provided small party tents, but a growing reputation for 'a job well done' led to a quick move into larger marquees, the wedding marquee hire market and more corporate events.
Such was the expansion that in 2003, whilst the office stayed in sunny Ponteland, the working end moved to a modern factory facility near Newcastle Racecourse in Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne. In 2007 a second neighbouring factory was occupied and plans are in place for a new purpose built facility to be created in the next year or so.
However, this growth does not mean that Waltons Marquee Hire has in any way lost the core values that created the success story that it has been. David Walton still personally carries out all of the site visits and is on hand at most of the jobs to ensure you are delighted with the quality and service of your marquee hire.

We spend a lot of time in the beautiful countryside and gardens of the region and aim to keep it that way. Whilst we want you to remember us, we don't want your garden to!
We aim to recycle what little waste we produce and we are always delighted to hear any further suggestions as to how we can go greener still.
